Since many of you wrote things about XX is not the stone for YY, please do know, as several fellow Deviants also have stated, that months have SEVERAL DIFFERENT BIRTHSTONES. Depending on the country and time (traditional/modern). Look it up if you must! Wikipedia is an easy way to learn about this theme!

This drawing took a long long time... Mostly thanks to my super procrastinations skills which I am not proud of.

Actually, Pearl isn't technichally a stone since it's a biologically created substance and thus decomposes. The first (and actual) birthstone of June is Alexandrite. They just changed it to pearl because they're more common than alexandrite.

Well I learned something new today. I wasn't aware August (My birth month) had two birthstones, I though the only birthstone was Peridot.

c: There are multiple stones that represent some months, but some are more "accepted" or common than others. Sardonyx is also a stone for August, though less common or known than Peridot. Just as Bloodstone is not the "typical" stone for March (the common being Aquamarine), it is still indeed a March birthstone.
