Her beauty has been poisoned and thus embittered. We don't know if the pollution is crawling up or being consumed by her blue sorrow. It's just her resentful stare that touches me the most, resembling Frida Kahlo's "Little Deer". At an emotional level this draws me back to the fact that many a time women are blamed by their perpetrators for their resent, while they deny the possibility that they are the ones who caused it. Very well done piece, truly.

I love your art so much! You always create images that are both beautiful and macabre in such a striking way. What I really like about the people you draw is the broken, fragmented look of their bodies and their eyes; I think it conveys so much emotion! In this one, the rib cage area reminds me of the wings of a butterfly
