So some of you will remember back in like 2008-2010 I fiddled with the idea of a pregnant, water powered superheroine. Well, I've decided to try and give this a shot in the form of Mira like short stories. I am going to work on the first story for our fertile heroine here soon but first, a little info. So, in October, Spider-Woman will debut in her new comic series where she is pregnant as allllll hell, so that spurred me and my friend, to try and create our own superheroine. So with that in mind we are completely revamping the character. Any of my previous stuff, fuck it, forget it. This is more definitive.

So, her working name is Alice Mendoza (Alicia in Spanish and the last name is subject to change), and like I said, she has water powers. She can create by drawing in hydrogen and she can manipulate pre-existing water. She can blast water with very degrees of velocity. She can also freeze water, creating ice weapons, freezing the water inside people...insta-death basically. She can also raise water's temp, boiling it, creating scalding water, evaporating it, etc, etc. So she's pretty powerful. But why does she have these powers? You'll find out in part one of her story.

So her design and colors!! A nice, dark indigo with some lighter blue accents here and there, so 3 blues were used. Her top and her domino mask have a lighter shade of blue than her sleeves and her pants. Well, the maternity elastic on her pants is also the lighter of the 3 blues. Anyways, she has a French manicure, I know it's not the easiest in the world to see. She also has a water drop necklace and water drop belly ring. Oh and she is Mexican American, born in the US so she has darker skin. I used a different flesh tone and I'm actually pretty pleased with her appearance. Her belly...now I tried to make it more pink, I added some pastel to pinkin up her belly and what not. Does it look good? Do you think it needs more color?

Finally, in her right hand, she conjures her namesake powers, in her left...an ultrasound photo lol. I got the idea from a billboard near my house, don't ask. Oh and she has belts with containers on them because she doesn't have pockets on her maternity suit! There were some minor issues here and there, mainly with the dark indigo but everything worked out to my liking. Let me know what you think. Props to for naming her.
