So for Christmas, my mum got me a copy of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for my DS, which I haven't played in a few years. Now, I haven't played a Pokémon game since Red and Blue, but when I saw this little axolotl-like Pokemon, mudkip, I was like "this is my main." So that's one of the reasons I've been away, I've been playing that game like mad. Waiting till the weather gets better to buy X and idk, Ultra Sun, so I can play them outside on the back porch. This drawing is to me, what like the old GBA screen shot would look like, since mudkip is underwater, as his gills are on the side of his face, like an axolotl, hence the bubbles. I always imagined like all the real water types, like carvanha and mudkip, and goldeen and whatnot, are all like magikarp, flopping away on the ground, unable to breathe, not just strolling around like the game shows, or flying most fish Pokémon cases.

Anyways, this is the second attempt. There was a day in January when I tried to draw him and I got everything going good but it was so cold that day, and no one turned the heat on at home, that my ink wouldn't dry and it started to separate and thus, it smudged. I drew this guy's outline, inked it, and waited like 4 days before laying marker down. There's pastel pencil in the bubbles for the reflection of the mudkip and the plants.

Still not in the greatest mood, nor do I feel well, I may return to deviantArt eventually but I am just so tired. In general. Not like in particular, like I am exhausted. I could sleep 16 hours a day if I was allowed to.
