Description
The latest, and one that has taken some time to complete. The point here was to build a really detailed image and also to test my new system, which btw worked perfectly.

this scene reminds me of final fantasy x-2.... if u've ever played it. it looks like the chamber where the big evil machine thing is held....i can't remember it's name....oh yeah vegnagun. but anyway.... the graphics are amazing i love this picture and it's going in my favorites.

The lighting and detail are flawless. From an artistic standpoint, though, I think all of the outreaching hands is a little over-the-top. Maybe it would be better with just one hand, or none at all. Just a suggestion.

Actually, the first version i posted was with the cell door locked, focusing mainly on the structure. Most people seem to prefer this one though with the arms adding a little action, so this one it is.

The sunlight shining through is one of the best parts; a subtle and unexpected contrast to the dark, cramped metal and machinery.

Those hands are sort of a flashback to a couple of creatures i used for some of my earlier 3D scenes.
