Description The latest, and one that has taken some time to complete. The point here was to build a really detailed image and also to test my new system, which btw worked perfectly.

Cinema4D and Photoshop.

Very, very, nice. The textures are very detailed and and the sun light coming though the cracks are just plain nice looking. Very good job

I saw this on renderosty just couple days ago, I didnt know it was yours! Great work man I love the feel of it. I would have to say the lighting is what takes the cake in my opinion, it really shows off the architecture. Great work and keep them coming!.

Oh my. With 'In the Hall of the Mountain King' blaring in the background... those hands are quite creepy. Nicely done (If just for that, but on the whole it's amazing.)

I agree. I'd love to see an untouched render. This piece is fantasic, by the way.

i really like this.. same with all your work. Im wondering though how much post work do u do. Cause i really get a painted feel from it. Any chance we could see a render before post process.

I actually used very little postwork on this scene. The sunrays, photographic arms and some enhanced highlights along with some moderate color corrections are pretty much it. Sure, i couldΒ΄ve used volume lights for the rays, but when it comes to total control, postworked ones are really the best way to go.

If you pass by the C4D forum at Renderosity, iΒ΄ve posted a few wip threads about the scene and the modeling process, as well as the final pre-postwork render. HereΒ΄s the thread with the render: [link]

*gasps* I've seen some of your work before on another site I think. You seem to be a league above most other people I've seen in 3-D modelling. Your grasp of light, texture and detail is simply staggering. I'd be interested to know how you created the human figures we see in your work. Anyways, I have to look away now - I need to blink.

Hey thanks.

If you mean this specific scene, itΒ΄s just a few photographic arms, cutted from some human reference shots.
In the case with other images, the oldest ones are Poser people, often blended with Bryce boolean models. I stopped using Poser about 2 years ago though, so these days i just draw the characters. TheyΒ΄re usually pretty small so they donΒ΄t need to have to much detail.
