Thought iยดld start out with one of my older scenes."The Nest" is part of a series called the "Travellers", picturing two aliens on a voyage to ancient and massive worlds in an unknown galaxy.
Bryce5/Cinema4D for the models and render, Photoshop/Universe Image Creator for characters and postwork.

What makes this work very eye-catching is perspective, colours and smooth light. And it doesn't look like a 3D art.

I love work like this -- you know, the kind that make you get closer to the monitor & squint your eyes...in hopes of looking deeper into the scene to suck up every last drop of detail you possible can...lol..over dramatic, but truth. Nice piece.

The view up is very pleasant to the eyes.
The rock texture is sweet w/ that swirlish, scroll effect. Wonderful colors, even yet they work well together.

that's a wonderful piece, it has a great sense of scale, and I adore this soft, almost painted kind of look. I suppose you did quite some postwork to the original render here.

When I saw your work I was very inspired in the technique that you use. I did visit your website and have bookmarked it for later reference as I do more work in 3D. Currently I am a 1st year computer animation major and would like to definately point others from Westwood College towards your tutorials with your permission.
