Technically excellent work, well done. If I'm going to nitpick it's historically inaccurate.
The spear should be in his right hand and to have lost his shield would disgrace him for life. Other than the leg/arm greaves, cloak and helmet, the Spartans fought naked (guess they preferred the freedom of movement). All Spartan men had beards.
Not criticizing in any way as this is a piece of art not a history book, and it is a brilliant piece of art too, so well done! Just thought you may like to know a few things.
