Damnit. You're cross hatching makes me green with envy.
Seriously.
Do you work with microns at all or do you primarily with pencil? Or is the pencil work a contact sheet that is used to base a micron work off of? I ask because it was my understanding that pencil was difficult to copy over onto a comic page.
I know pretty much next to nothing about comic work, and I'm sure that's showing at the moment, but I can't help but be curious. Many of the techniques used in comic illustration ( like the aforementioned cross hatching that is currently kicking me in the butt) interest me greatly. I'd love to be able to incorporate that type of feel and texture into a painting!

Hm, thanks so much for the inquiry. It's solely pencil work. It's clean, largely due to the paper which a semi gloss bristol. It has enough teeth but not rough at all. I don't use Microns, but they are good for inking. Due to the technological advancements in scanning, the scanner can pick up all of the pencils and can even be manipulated to appear inked. These however are just xerox reductions of my pencils are are not manipulated at all. It's just a confident steady hand and a pencil. lol I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
