More writing than drawing in this one. Just thought it would be interesting to compare the two scenes, the original animated series one with the movie version.
Though there were no obvious problems with the screen directions per say, it was the whole action- reaction and timing that was awkward in the movie.
Notice that for the animated series, we don't even see one earthbender doing one attack, and yet it is clear and makes sense.
Screen direction in storyboards, cutting and editing is very important. It is the link between the chains of events. It connects with the 180 degree rule :

Please note that this rule can be broken in service to the story, for emotional effect, etc.
As for the "Macarena" in panel 6, I blame this video:

I was one of the few who enjoyed it. I thought it was a fun visual interpretation...you know, kind of like fan art....multi-million dollar, poorly executed fan-infuriating fan art

How on earth did you manage to sum up the entire movie in one small sentence? You must be a god. o.o

There's all levels of fanarts out there that's for sure.
Just...rarely ones with a huge budget.

To be honest, trailers were not that fascinating, they seemed kind of fake :/ I'm only judging by trailers...

To be honest, some visual elements in the trailers used to make me excited.
Used to.

I see. I heard there was no kioshi warrior which i already disappointing. They were major part in season 1

I wouldn't call them major- they appeared for just one episode.
We may say Jet was important too, and many other characters that appeared for just one episode, but were absent from the film.
Though I am sad about the Kyoshi warriors, there was too little time in the movie to do them justice.

I picked up the Novelization which is what the initial cut of the film and I have to say it was better than the final product.
It even had the Kyoshi Warriors for alot of it plus comedy.
The only bad instances were shown in the final cut like the earthbenders ,the montage, not even a good transtion of Yue's and Sokka's relationship or Katara/ Aang's training with Pakku or the confilict thereof with her being female.
If they atleast corrected those problems I'd be ok with the film.
