Pinkie Pie watched, as Applejack gesticulated wildly with her hooves, pointing first at Rainbow Dash, then up at the ceiling.
Rainbow Dash's gaze followed her hoof-gesture, but didn't seem to understand what Applejack was trying to say. She shrugged, to which Applejack vocalized her frustration. For a moment, Rainbow Dash narrowed her eyes. Maybe it had been an insult? A challenge?
Rarity sprawled on her fainting couch, hooves covering her face. Fluttershy quietly patted her on the back. It was clear something was wrong, but Pinkie Pie had not the slightest idea what it might be.
Twilight spoke, trying to reassure the group.
It was an incomprehesible jumble of meaningless noises.
The written word had faired no better, reduced to undecypherable squiggles.
Words had failed them.
