Description
Assault Rifle 1946 (Sturmgewehr 46) is selective fire, gas blowback operated rifle chambered in 7.92x33mm Kurz from Wolfenstein's alternate 1946's. Slightly modified version of this weapon was also seen in The Old Blood, known as Assault Rifle 46-TDrew all with MS Paint, removed background with GIMP. This thing took many, many hours.

Ah, so there is a reason why the Assault Rifle fired as fast as the 60's variant in the Old Blood...it was simply a modified version.

Pretty odd how the Deathshead's Compound soldiers had inferior versions while the Old Blood soldiers had superior versions, haha.

Great work though it always struck me that the game designers should have taken a hint from real life since we already know what zee Germanz were going to field in 1946 given the chance, which would have been some sort of variant of the STG45.Ā Ā Come the early 60's they would have had something like the HK G3 or the CETME thing based on the STG45.Ā Granted this is Wolfenstein so basically fantasy, but still.

Yeah! It was amazing how Wolfenstein depicted alternate timeline, with moon bases, robotics, CCTVs and laser guns in 60s, and pretty much same things in 46s.
