Thompson Submachine Gun Model 1946 is gas blowback operated fully automatic SMG chambered in .45 ACP from Wolfenstein's alternate 1946s.Now with stock. Stay tuned, I'll upload two new guns soon.

Basically when a gun fires, some of the gas following the round out of the chamber exits with it. However some of the gas is sent through a tube in a weapon, which is enough to force the bolt back for another round to be chambered. That's essentially how automatic weapons function and it will repeat this process unless you let go of the trigger, run out of ammo or at times jams up.

that's technically what is known as gas operated. A blow back simply uses the force exerted on the bolt to cycle the firearm. Can you see why I'm confused?
