Whether it’s taking care of house-wife duties or carrying out a covert assasination as the “Thorn Princess”, Yor Forger (Briar) has the uncanny ability to look captivating when wearing face masks.

[White Surgical Mask]
A protective breathing mask that Yor occasionally wears at home when cooking or cleaning. Out of courtesy, if she either has a light cold or is recovering from hangover from the previous night, Yor would instinctually wear a surgical mask to protect her husband and daughter.

[Black Solid Face Mask]
On days when the air quality is particularly bad, Yor prefers to wear a black solid face mask out in public while running errands & buying groceries. Since not many women would wear such a striking face mask, many passersby’s attention would be drawn to Yor’s gentle beauty & the mysterious charm of her black mask as she walks down the street.

On one occasion, when a store clerk asked to check Yor’s ID to verify an alcoholic purchase, he found himself staring at her for a long time, enamoured by how attractive the lovely married lady in front of him looked even with a mask on, as he was trying to match the her face to the ID.

[Assassin’s Stealth Mask]
A signature black mask that obscures the lower half of Yor’s face and covers down her neck. It’s used to conceal her identity & mask the sound of her breathing, making it helpful when sneaking up on enemies during missions.

The stealth mask is thicker on the mouth cover and made of tight-fitting leather while the neck scarf is a light weight breathable black cloth fabric. This makes the mask sweat resistant around Yor’s neck, while also protecting her against poison & sleeping gas.

For comfortability, the mouth cover is tailored to firmly cup the contours of Yor’s chin & will freely stretch up and down to accentuate the muscle movements of her jaw when she speaks. Without sacrificing anonymity, the thick frontal layer of the mouth cover does a good job of hiding the shape of her lips & slightly muffles Yor’s voice, making her difficult to identify.

[Executioner’s Mask]
A mask with a sadistic appearance that fully covers Yor’s face. Reserved for targets designated with a “to be executed” calling card, the Thorn Princess only dons the full-face mask when she is required to deal severe punishment or willingly enters complete kill mode.

Made out of a hardened latex, the mask affixes itself to the wearer’s visage & adapts itself to fit their facial muscles. The reinforced rubber can freely stretch to the movements & twitches of the jaw, cheeks & brows. Since there are no nose holes, the wearer cannot smell beyond the mask & must breathe entirely through their mouth. As a reprieve, there is a muzzle like panel with slitted vents in front of the mouth area.

Yor’s executioner mask seems to have quite a bit of wear on it. There are traces of past victims’ blood & other fluids from her own mouth like spit and vomit from alcohol on the inside of the mask that likely splashed back onto the assassin’s beautiful face while she was wearing it during combat.
