Love Fredbear's half glitched face in that 2nd panel. Β And how he's just poking his nose in that 5th panel. You do a really good job with him.

Half-glitched Fredbear is actually one of my favorites to draw. I think it's having one eye to do normal expressions with, plus that ominous, skull-like pixelated eye.

He does look fun to draw Do you use photoshop to do those perfect pixel squares?Β

I use the figure tools in Manga Studio 5. I don't use Photoshop very much because it's not as sensitive to my tablet, and it makes a big difference in the quality of my linework.

oooh ok. I just have a laptop. I can see how Photoshop wouldn't be very easy to use with a tablet. Do you draw directly on there with a stylus or scan your drawings? (Sorry for being nosy, i'm just curious '^_^ )

Stylus on a Wacom Bamboo tablet I got years ago; I don't think they even make that model anymore. My comic process goes thumbnail sketches in an actual sketchbook (to get a feel for the basic flow of the comic), rough sketching in Manga Studio using the pencil tool, inking with the gpen, then colors, shading, and backgrounds. Manga Studio is the most tablet-responsive program I've found; the stuff I do in it actually looks like my pencil stuff. I've always had a problem with line thickness and the like not varying enough in photoshop. The trickiest part of working with a tablet is training yourself to look at the screen while you draw, rather than down like normal.

With the earliest comics, I did used to take a photo of a full-page sketch, then go over each panel with the gpen, but the current method makes for better drawings, IMO.

Thanks for the detailed comment!
I think I actually have a tablet similar to that somewhere in my room... I just never really got used to using it. Like you said, it's hard to get used to looking at the screen and not at my hand. Also, I'm left-handed but I use the mouse with my right hand, so it gets confusing when I try to use a tablet.. XDΒ
I might give it another try, though. Β
I appreciate your advice!Β

Like I said below: I think Springy's crimes go far beyond stealing from boy scouts, nuns, and banks. (It probably would've been better for everybody had he just turned to robbery.)

Perk of the job. Or a drawback, if you ask Fredbear himself. He'd be much happier having never met Springtrap or heard about his crimes.

Agent of the divine, cog in the celestial bureaucracy, whatever you wanna call him. Think social worker crossed with prison warden, at least for Springtrap's particular case.

My version of my Springy follows one of my favorite archetypes to write: the snarky jerkass. Weirdly, they always seem to be my most popular type of character in RP, even when I play non-assholes as alts. Go figure.
