Couple notes on this one, because that last panel is one I've been playing with since comic start. 'Goldie' is a nickname that's been a long time in coming; it sprang up in some non-comic-related RP with one of my betas, and it ended up sticking. She's also called Goldie in all my notes and conversations, just because it's so much faster to type.Note #2: though I haven't gotten into it much, there's music that's tied to certain comics. The song for this one is Mountain At My Gates , by Foals. When I was figuring this one out, I always kept picturing the last panel tying in at the :28 mark. Have fun realizing just how big your new world is, Springy.

PANEL 1:
Spring Bonnie: So why are you looking for clocks?
Springtrap: Fredbear said I needed to find them.
PANEL 2:
Spring Bonnie: So we find clocks in the woods. Then what?
Springtrap: One clock, anyway. And I don't know; I'm playing it by ear. Goldie.
PANEL 3:
Spring Bonnie: What?
Springtrap: You keep calling me Springles. So I'm nicknaming you right back.
PANEL 4:
Spring Bonnie: It's catchier than 'Spring Bon'. I'll run with it. ...So do you have any clue where it's supposed to be?
Springtrap: No. I think he likes being cryptic with me.
PANEL 5:
Spring Bonnie: Well, Springles, let's hope it's close...
PANEL 6:
Spring Bonnie: ...Because we have a LOT of forest.
Springtrap: ...$#@^.

Look at this way: he's probably one of the few Springtrap takes that gets to see something outside of Fazbear's Fright. It's just that that something is a huge, mostly wilderness expanse full of things that want to mangle animatronics.
...Maybe the Springys stuck in the Fright are better off, after all.

I really like this comic. The art is beautful and I really like the personalities of the characters. I havn't really played Fnaf World ... maybe I should.
I actually really like this page. It might sound strange, but out of all the three Springtrap is forced to stay with, I think perhaps Spring Bonnie is the one he'd get along with the best. That is, unless he still is mad about the whole 'dying inside a Spring Bonnie suit'. I mean, at least she treats him somewhat nice compared to Funtime Foxy and Bonnie.

Glad you're enjoying the comic! I tend to go back and nitpick my art after the fact, but I think everybody does that. Spring Bonnie being the friendliest to Springtrap is a bit of irony I couldn't resist running with. There's still some hangups on his end that it's weird to be treatedly nicely by the personification of the suit that killed him...but hell in general's been sort of a total mindscrew for him in general, so.

Its kinda strange how Spring Bonnie seems more patient with Springtrap than the other two (Granted cannot say for them all because they have not found the rest of the gang yet). But then again I got a sneaky suspicion that Spring Bonnie has a grasp of whats going but does not speak openly about it...after all shes in the same league as Golden Fredbear. But time will tell

Spring Bonnie is, I think, the nicest of the main cast, and that makes a difference. (Bonnie is concerned about Springtrap's sanity levels and Foxy is...high strung.) I can confirm, though, that Springtrap and Fredbear are the only two non-natives to show up thus far. Spring Bonnie's been around second longest, and she knows the ropes (and what sort of insanity to expect from her home), but she's not an agent of the afterlife bureaucracy like Fredbear is.

Ah ok then my bad. It kinda feels like she treats springtrap like a sibling (they are basically the same animatronic just one is a bit more gamy and colorworn). As for Funtime Foxy being high-strung I wouldn't blame him/her (I can never figure it out :<) because after all thats going on seems like they had a more laid back lifestyle but who can tell either way I cannot wait to see what happens next :3 (I can wait xD)

Funtime Foxy (and the Mangles) are all girls, if that helps. She's always been tightly wound (this is something I have a vague plan to dig more into), but things going crazy-plus Springtrap being Springtrap-have done nothing to help the situation. Next comic's being worked on; I'm just looking forward to the one after that, as it'll be a bit of a break for my poor wrist.

I'm really glad people are enjoying it, I just wish I could produce it faster. But my wrist tends to hurt like hell if I try to push myself to more than one a week. Which is a pain, because there's plot I want to get to.

I know your pain. I tried making a comic before, but it took such a long time to make each page I hardly got any out. I had to quit early in. I'm actually trying to get another simple designed one started soon. I really can't function without having some sort of story in my head. XP
But one a week sounds perfect to me, that's probably what I'll be doing as well.

Simple is a huge help in comics, I think-I've found the things that really add to the time and wrist strain are 1. backgrounds and 2. number of characters in each panel. But I know what you mean about stories in your head; once they hit, you have to get them out, one way or another.

Yeah, backgrounds are the worst. I wish they didn't exist. I probably simplify mine more than I should. Your backgrounds are great though, I'm surprised you make them the way you do!

The ground part of the backgrounds isn't too terrible, since I figured out what brushes to use, but stuff like trees is a pain. I look forward to nice, flat, simple landscapes. And I dread if I ever bring them into a proper 'town' type area. The circus will be bad enough.

so I made fan art of Spring Trapped
and I think it would be funny when (and if) they meet Rainbow, Springtrap is just like: "Shut the Faz-*** up, Fazbear! First off, I don't even know why I'm still here! Second off, WHAT THE **** EVEN IS THAT?!"

Honestly, I'm not sure what, if any, of update 2 will end up being brought into the comic. It's a bit too meta for the ironic afterlife plotline. ...Now, one off gags not set in comic continuity proper, I may play with that some.

Given the timeframe I have in mind for the comic to take place in, I'm not sure I'll reach any overtly shippy territory with Springtrap...but as someone who enjoys shipping, it does warm my heart to see people going 'ee, ship!'
(Also I'm not sure he's physically capable of not being a douche; his track record here pretty much gives no hope.)

That's very true, he's a lost case. XD But maybe, having fun with others would help him relax. He seems a bit tensed all the time. And Fredbear doesn't really spare him. Springtrap is already stressed by his situation, and Fredbear is like "Well f*ck you and everything you stand for, you dirty piece of crap, you work for me now and you do as I want or I'll kick your butt and drown you in Lillygear's Lake" xD No wonder why he gets even worse!
Though, I perfectly agree with Fredbear. He's responsible for what's happening, he shouldn't be spared. He needs to realize his wrong doings and not just think that Life was unfair with him all along. Fredbear needs to teach him a lesson (possibly without drowning him in Lillygear's Lake? Pwetty pwease? XD)

I admit, 'boy, these guys won't swim well at all' is something that came to mind when I started thinking of Lillygear Lake stuff. Good news is, Fredbear is pretty okay with standing back and letting Springtrap get into and out of his own messes-it's the only way he'll learn. He'll advise, he'll give options, but he's likely to get in trouble with upper management should he say 'fuck it, I'm smiting him', which...helps restrain the throttling that Fredbear thinks he richly deserves. (And he knows he still wouldn't learn from it, which is also another cause for restraint.)
But yes, Springy is, at the moment, a high-strung, snarky ragebucket. Honestly, a hug and a cupcake might baffle him long enough to settle him down and wonder what he did to deserve something nice.

As long as Fredbear doesn't drown him, I guess there's still hope for him xD He can still work on changing things, mostly when he'll understand that there's most likely nothing else to do for him to leave. Maybe thanks to that he will find the courage to do those good things and work on his own situation. Or maybe he'll just stay stubborn and will end up finishing his life in Lillygear's Lake after commiting suicide
Settling him down could actually be an opportunity at some point. Leaving him stunned would be very useful in some situations, and I'm sure Spring- Goldie, sorry, could take advantage of it if he doesn't cooperate. But that's just my thinking xD And also, that could be useful to steal him a kiss :*
