Behold, our first case of uncensored swearing! Also tried a slightly different way of coloring the flashback this time; I'm experimenting with the best way to make those panels look distinct but easier to color.So here we are. The first bit of 'what the hell HAPPENED?' Like basically every Springtrap-centered comic out there, I have my own take on the jerk in life, and it doesn't follow TSE (or SL canon). Or probably any popular theory. So in case of 'but that doesn't match
Also, I hate drawing trees. Have I mentioned that? I can't wait for the dusting fields.

PANEL 1:
Spring Bonnie: Okay, your face has to have landed somewhere. And it'd stick out on the ground, so that's out...
PANEL 2:
Spring Bonnie: Oh, there we are.
Springtrap: has to be the high one. How do we reach it?
PANEL 3:
Spring Bonnie: You stay put. I'll get it. Nice job finding out your last attack, by the way.
PANEL 4:
Spring Bonnie: Once you get used to actually hanging on, it'll be useful!
Springtrap: Yeah, well, last big bite attack I saw was awhile ago. Not much of a guide.
PANEL 5:
Spring Bonnie: Oh yeah?
Springtrap: Yeah.
PANEL 6:
Misc: Oh god! Call 911! There's blood everywhere! Don't look!
Purple Guy: Hol. Ee. Shit. I'm not cleaning that. I don't get paid enough to clean that.
Jorge: What's going on? I can't see anything in this thing! Why's everybody yelling?
Purple Guy: Shut up, Jorge.

Poor Spring looks so uncomfortable in that first picture. Like he feels exposed. Though...his endoskeleton is pretty exposed. In the face.
Kinda can't help but feel bad about the face. I mean. Ouch.
At least he got a little praise from Goldie. That'll boost his morale a little...I guess. Maybe not.

As I've said elsewhere, that bit was inspired by real life experience. I never saw blood, but I saw plenty of dining area and restroom horrors. And Springles is having a very, very bad day. This is easily in his top ten worst days list. And this is only his second day in the afterlife.
Goldie is pretty much his most consistent source of positive interaction so far. Even when she was beating the crap out of him, it wasn't because she wanted to. Having a least ONE person who likes him (even if she is the embodiment of the suit that killed him) is...something. Not much, but something.

I like Goldie. She's awesome and she plays off of the Springles really well. They're fun to watch interact in your comic!!

Right now, the top bad day is still 'getting killed by the suit', though 'woke up in hell' is now fiercely competing for top spot. The face thing is right up there, though.
I really enjoy writing for Goldie. She balances out Springtrap nicely, I think.

The not getting paid enough part is drawn from life. Cleaning the bathroom and dining areas at a food place sucks. And is enough to make murder start sounding like a reasonable response.

'Jerkass' is sort of his natural state of being, alive or dead. Though having worked at a shitty food job, and having done cleaning as part of that job, I find his take on cleaning up the biohazard-y mess to be perfectly understandable.

To make things worse: it was explained to us in neurology class that the raw, natural state of the brain is more akin to toothpaste, rather than the solid, hard lump you see preserved in formaldehyde. So just imagine the brain matter mess with THAT in mind.

Springtrap's body language is fun to play with, especially when he's upset. And I just hate sketching them and coloring them over and over again. Dusting fields and Lilygear Lake will be a breeze in comparison.

I get that. Drawing stuff repeatedly is annoying as crap.
Snow looks like it'd be hard to shade, though. Although I guess just some shadows from the characters and a few lines would be enough?

I love drawing everyone's ears. Snow I've done before by using noise filters to get that sparkle effect; shading is a bit trickier, though.
