And back to proper pencils for the flashback portions. This was a bad day for Springles in life; in death, it's not much fun to remember, either.I keep debating putting the name I've selected for my version of PG in the transcripts, even though it's not been mention in-comic yet, but I'm concerned about causing confusion. Though it'd definitely help make it clear that this is very, very AU to all the canon stuff that's come out with SL (especially the stuff that just hit in the past day or so. Damn.) Thoughts?

Purple Guy: How should I know?! Not like people being ripped apart is a thing I deal with a lot!

Jorge: Oh, jeez. His eyeballs came out. And, uh...his teeth.
Purple Guy: That's great. I'll add them to the list of dismembered parts I didn't need to see today. We gotta tell management.

Jorge: I hope these ones are better about cleaning. I don't think that stain on the stage is ever coming off.
Purple Guy: Maybe I should ask about power washer rentals, too. Shit.

Fredbear: Springtrap?
Springtrap: GAH!

Fredbear: Are you alright? I wasn't expecting you to go quiet like that.

Springtrap: Fine. I'm fine.

Spring Bonnie: What do you think they keep talking about?
Foxy: Basic concepts like 'axes hurt' and 'don't annoy bees', probably.
FNAF and all its characters belong to Scott Cawthon, not me.

Benji and I say use your Springtrap's name. I mean, at this point a lot of us know that we've been writing our AUs since before Sister Location, and trying to shoehorn that into what we've already established as our own AUs makes things messier than a Springlock failure.
I say keep going, keep telling the story you want to tell. I know that's what I'm going to do!!
I haveta admit that Jeorge and Guy-In-Bonnie are taking this really well. When my coworker got her hand mangled in the machinery at work, there was a lot more screaming involved.
Then again...she was still able to scream. Unlike...dismembered leg guy there...

Yeah, trying to shoehorn in SL would be an absolute nightmare. I'm more open to the major shifts in canon, now that my temper's cooled off, but good goddamn I can't think of ANYBODY's comic that works with. I think why the name thing is bothering me is because everybody else gets their name listed, while Dante remains the very anonymous 'purple guy'. So I'll likely be switching over.
Like I said below-the shock really helps. It's an incredibly surreal situation, especially since there's no obvious reason-or way-they know of that somebody could dismember an employee like that and not be noticed. My one work place incident involving dismembered parts was somebody losing a finger to a meat slicer back in high school, which we all recovered from pretty quickly...with a healthy dose of 'thank god I work at the front.' But we didn't get to see it, either.

Yeah. I'm just going to soldier on with my AU and have the occasional beer with other AUs. I've put too much thought into it to change now.
Let's see...we've had the hand Mangle in a tea blending drum, while other people lost parts to interesting animals. (The bite of '12, if I'm remembering my timeline properly...)
Coming in after a mauling was reported as surreal, probably the whole "what even happened here?" When the whole place is covered in bloody handprints, and you just showed up for work.

The idea of all the different AU Springtraps at Tapper's, drinking and commiserating, continues to amuse me. And damn, we've only had animal warnings (rattlesnakes, wild hogs, and I once saw a skunk run across the parking lot in broad daylight, which is never a good sign). That really does sound surreal.

I say go ahead and use your PG's name, I mean this whole comic is very clearly an AU as as long as you make it clear that *insert name here* is PG people should get it. Tho there will still be those people who feel the need to call him Vincent of Affton or something.

Fredbear: old, powerful (in comparison to everyone else), jaded, but not omnipotent. He knows Springtrap's case history well, but this is the first real bit of non-snarky emotion, besides fear, that he's seen.

Shoot I meant fredbear. Whoops 😅. That is true. Will we ever see a glimpse of how fredbear got into the world, besides just 'appearing'? Just a thought; he is a very interesting character who like springtrap trancends the reality and remembers what was before.

I might do it as a bonus comic at some point; given the nature of his job (and his own nature), it really was kind of a blip in. Perk of being celestial bureaucracy-it's much easier for you to get around than everybody else.

Considering somebody lost a finger at an old job of mine, dismemberment isn't that strange of a topic to pop up, depending on your workplace. It's just not real expected at a kiddie pizza place.
