Part 2 of the requested post-apoc bunnies stuff. Thorn is the brawn half of the pair, though he's not stupid. I described him to a friend of mine as the Master Chief of rabbits-huge, nasty in combat, and a goddamn trainwreck when it comes to social interactions. Thorn is a great big lump of awkward around other rabbits because he's a ferox-a particular mutation of bunny that's more akin to a very small sabertooth than anything else. Ferox are larger than normal rabbits, have sharp claws, saber teeth...and an unfortunate case of being obligate carnivores, so while warrens may recognize that ferox are useful, they generally don't like them very much. So poor Thorn has largely gotten through life by doing his best to keep trouble away, trying to avoid sentences longer than five words, and trying to keep Thorn from getting the both of them into trouble. His track record with the latter is...iffy.
