Description
A masked and cloaked hobbit archer takes aim, deep in the elven forest. Inspired by Lord Of The Rings Online, this started as a bit of fun but I got carried away and turned it into a full painting.I used this fantastic stock image by lindowyn-stock as a basis for the character.
Full size image is 5000 x 3500 pixels, painted entirely in Corel Painter.

No, it's not based on a screenshot. The figure is based on a stock image, linked in the comments. The background is my own creation. Glad you enjoyed it.

The detail is a two-edged sword, the end result is great and it's lovely when people appreciate it, but in the middle of the process of hand painting every blade of grass I often wish I'd taken up Minimalism

Holy details! That's awesome, I especially love the fabric, that's just beautiful, oh and the moss on the trees and the light streaming through the trees in the background. And I really like the way the light mottles the far background. The beauty is in the details, well done!
