Holy crap, this is amazing. Though it is a little difficult to make out the fantastic lines through the heavy texture.. I think a slightly simpler version might make the figure stand out more. Other than that, gorgeous.. I love the smoke.

(I hate that anything remotely unusual invokes comments about drugs.)

Holy shit, this is amazing! It's so... different and original, and I really love the patterns (I'm a whore for patterns). I love the crazy bark integration, too.

And... the pot thing? Eh, all kids associate shit with the pot. Or, ya know, the ones that do it and think they're all cool. I just hate how drawing in class gives people a reason to talk to you. >____>

I love the instrument and the delicate little hands. I think the diamond bubbles may be a little too close to white though, it makes the figure extremely dark and difficult to look at.

Oh, I love the swirly blue bits too.

I think it is a really cool-looking piece. The colors and textures seem more like they're expressive of a want to be free, not like it drawn and filled in while high. It gives a surreal feeling without that, which I find pleasing.

It looks and feels more ethnic, extremely tribal but not potty. Oh well. The image is still really cool, it has a lot of movement and your eye can easily go from one place to the other. The colors you choose are awesome, again.

Though the diamond stuff confuses me.

Blah! Ignore the pot comments, this is gorgeous and magical. I really love the texture you've integrated into it and especially how it shows through on the clothing. The wispy blue lines coming out of the pipe as well as the glowing gold compliment each other beautifully and give the drawing a lot of volume. As usual, I admire all of the details that you put into this. Great job!

Pot? It looks like an instrument to me. I love the symbolism of how, what looks like to me, it is embodying the wind and it is a "wind" instrument. Very cool.
The only criticism I can offer is the background. If you could soften the texture and give it earthier tones it might flow beter. Other than that, keep up these new characters.

Pot? Cripes, I thought "musical instrument" when I first saw it. Then again, I was a band geek.
As for advanced critique... I think it could do with a less chaotic background. It looks like tree bark, but I think you could achieve a different feel, someting more musical with a background that's a little more solid than that.

Other than that, the piece is great. It's tough for me to critique your work normally because it's far more imaginative than most I've seen.

Coloring is amazing as always; I've always associated the color of music to be silver, myself, but blue works fine. :3

I really like the glowiness you put in it...it contrasts with the duller colors of the picture, but in a good way.

I still love your style. you draw so many cool designs, I especially love your skin/fur markings and clothing patterns.
