This is a great shot; i will have to go look up your origional after I finish. hehe. From what I gather this is cropped from something larger and I can see why. Cropping this image was nice. It makes the leaf stand out beautifully and the stem and icescicle draw the eye to the leaf nicely as well. The colors and shades in the shot compliment each other well. I enjoy how the shot is gray scale other than the leaf which makes it that much more brilliant while neautral at the same time. I also particularly enjoy how there are three variations to distortion in this image. First the back ground which is very blurred, then the ice distortion almost like a glass emboss film. Then the ice covered leaf that is surprisingly very crisp and covered in extremely detailed patterns. I like how the light thrrough the leaf allows the viewed to see every single layer all the way through in various shades of color. Nice Shot.
