#9 will always be my Doctor and Christopher Eccleston brought Doctor Who bang up to date. Sadly and in my opinion criminally overlooked by some he only did one season but the 13 episodes he did are television classics.

Christopher is such a fantastic actor and lovely to meet, having met him nine times in the last seven years at various performances and talks he has given.
He loved my cross stitch citing it as being "fantastic" and was rather smitten by it

I thought Eccleston was a good Doctor. Don't know why people didn't really seem to like him as the doctor.

I know, he was so fantastic! Honestly, I only came into Doctor Who at season 3 because Rose always annoyed me, but then I went back and watched the episodes I'd missed, and was just blown away by how awesome he was. I expected him from his outfit to be all, like, moody and angry or something. And then he was actually really sassy?
