I was looking through my faves and I thought, Hmm.. I thought I had more faves from you. You deleted them you naughty thing. So I had to fave some new ones cause I love your work.
May I draw this? I am starting a series of flowers. Trying to simplify and hone my pastel skills.

Yeah, they are proably in storage [not deleted. just not on show]. But you don't have to fave stuff just to keep up the numbers

Thank you so much! I hope you dont think for a minute that I would put something in my fave gallery that I didnt love. It's just that I think you are a fine artist and a good friend and I want you to have a presence in my fave gallery. The crack I made about the numbers just shows that I lack social skills.

Very good focus, and the colours are great. The pollen makes great contrast with the pinks and purples. But what is the white line on the left side? It looks kind of like a piece of hair...

Yeah, you're the only one who's mentioned that! It's a dog hair [they get everywhere] that I didn't notice until later, by which time the flower had wilted - typical! I might try and photoshop it out when I'm more confident with the software.

Nope, the only photo i edited was the rusty keys, the flower ones have been left alone completely.

I really like this, you've captured the flower brilliantly. I especially like the detail of the inner part of the flower. I see you're done this with a FujiFilm S5600 too, it's nice to know that a camera I'm considering getting can produce such high quality photos.

Thanks, its a great lilttle camera, I've only had it for 2 weeks and love it to bits!
This was done with an added macro lens, but you can get good close shots with the zoom alone
