I know his death is canon. And as for attempting how it went, I know the guardian wanted him dead right? Maybe while he's firing at a puppet or dummy ( like in the TLOS series how spyro did) and has his back to the guardian, and thats when the guardian makes his move and kills him, as of how it could either be his element or brute strength like using his claws to puncture his chest or something, even using his tail, since it is crystal, it might do a lot of damage if he hits something in the head hard enough.

For many....this will be painful to see.
At the same time the curiosity will be sastified. As how he died. The only thing will left me curious, is we will never see her sister reaction when the news reach her, and the outrage to almost tear apart the guardian because this crime.
