I didn't stream the colouring as I was watching the new episode of Sherlock. Oops.
Xavier shows off how the crystal armour works. It's not the complete armour though, just some basic parts, so it can be modified to each other's taste.

Now thats some cool armor. If this is the basic set then the advanced ones most be pretty impressive.

Advanced cover the user almost completely - a tank of crystals. However, it limits the movements greatly.

They can control how much they put on though right, because having that much armor means even though they're strong and durable they wont be able to move. Covering half the body Seem practical though.

Advanced is good when you need to protect the body completely. For fighting, yes, they use simpler sets, with vital points only being covered.
