Interesting combination of both static and dynamic tranquility. The static tranquility stands for the sea, sky, trees and boats, while the dynamic one stands for those lovely pigeons playing with the water. Composition talking, except of vertically centralizing the horizon it's pretty hard to say more. You should definitely try some rule-of-thirds photographs, just so see if it appeals to you as a photographer. One thing's sure - it's gonna be damn fun.

Now that's a great comment! Thanks!
I try to follow the rule of thirds when possible, but more often than not, it can't be done. I also like to exaggerate the sections in the "rule of thirds" so 2 parts are big and empty while one is small and crowded. This gives a minimalistic feel. See [link] as an example.
Thanks again for the great comment!

P.S. Those are geese

As I just advised *bluebag today, there's an important tip for every digital photograph you take: make sure you take what I like to call 'safety margins' in all four sides as cropping is possible at anytime (unlike shooting the same photograph again, just improved).

Geese they are indeed, thanks for that
