"Shwew" -Rubs eyes- all done... As you can tell, It's a hunter and a marine- who's pretty much screwedWhen I say 'full veiw' for details - I'm NOT kidding... this picture took a freaking long time and as a result the largest size pic I was willing to upload still looses some of its awsomeness... any way... So I was psyched about halo three comming out and also halo 2 for pc - so I wanted to do a fan art and thought why not a hunter... because they are bad ass and nobody ever draws them... anyway I went about my normal method of colorage then decided I wanted it to be lineless (mistake) It took so long to get it to look good without lines... then I wanted to spiffy up the hunter becuase he looked to plain and I also modified the marines armor and helmit becuase I always thought the marines looked dorky - then I played halo 2 for the the first time and got to see the new hunters and was like HOLY CRAP they are freaking awsome and I wet myself... ... well not realy but it was cool and the graphics were much better and they gave the hunters more personality and made 'em bigger... bla bla bla....

He certainly looks lethal at any rate! I can sympathize with the Marine. I was playing Halo ODST and I go rocking around a corner in a building, with narrow, man size hallways, and BOOM! turn a corner and come nose to nose with a Hunter! In a panicked fit of WTF button-mashing, I managed by total accident to huck a plasma grenade stripped from an unfortunate Brute who didn't duck fast enough straight into the hunter's face-plate. The ensuing detonation nearly killed us both, save for a conveniently placed coffee table which saved my hide.
I sat there for ten minutes freaking out after that one! XD

Awesome, I wonder how this scene will end;
1. Marine/odst get's owned by hunter's fuel rod.
2. Marine/odst get's smacked by hunter's massive shield wich results in instant death just like number 1 [link]

Ummm... is it at all possible to negotiate with hunters? Since you play as a SPARTAN-II in Halo, the thought never really crossed my mind, but seeing as how we will all just be ODST's in the upcoming expansion, it suddenly seems like a good option...

I was playing it yesterday and realized while the first one will become classic... and maybe even 3... There are so many button combos in Halo 2 that you might want to take advantage of. There's the RXR combo for battle rifles where you shoot six times instead of the usual three. But, the problem with this is that it can backfire on you if you don't do it right. Also, there are high-jump points in every multiplayer stage. I don't know exactly how to do those, but it's a mofo if you do it right cuz you can go to ridiculously high places. Blegh.... My cuz knows where every single one of them are and can pull it off with ease.

well I have an action replay for xbox. I played as a marine and kill a hunter with it ... was easy. Sooo, he might have a chance if he is a good shooter and agile enough. Hunters are powerful but they are dumb and slow.

auctualy on halo 1 (legendary) you can run straight towards the hunter and then sidstep circles around him while melee atacking him and he'll never get a chance to atack... kind of a cheap way to kill hime by exploiting the loops but meh... from what I have seen of the marines when played by computers they just kinda stand there and take it... thats why I like the hunters in halo 2... but you can kinda do the whole side step thing again...
