Description
A character design I did for a fictional snake catcher woman. The hat is a straw plate that that gets tied around her bun. Her shin guards protect her from stray snake bites. Her staff and basket are what she uses to catch and keep the snakes. Her belt has food and anti-venom stashed, for staying healthy and alive. She takes the snakes home and lets the local apothecary take venom from them, and then uses the rest for their meat (food), skins (shoes and stuff), and bones (jewelry and sewing). As part of her snake duties, she also marks any snake nests she finds to make sure they're kept safe and allowed to hatch.
