Yay! I was excited to see tilt shift in the DDs! It's one of my favorites with photography. I recognized what it was from the thumbnail. Great job! (: It looks just like a little miniature village. ♥

I love Tilt Shift! Did you photograph this as tilt shift, or was it postworked?

Eh, if you were going to photoshop it to be a tilt-shift, you always have to be careful of small details in distance.
One of the big obvious things you missed is that the bottom of a building is in focus, but everything above it is out of focus. I immediately knew this was done in photoshop.
With a real tilt-shift lens you get the entire person or building in focus or out of focus. I'm seeing a couple of people with just their feet or heads blurred out.
Half of the blue sign is also blurred out too.
It looks nice, but I'm a stickler for small details. Photoshopping in tilt-shift is a really tricky thing to do when there's small details around.
Me being a bitch about every small detail would give this photo a 2/10 overall.

the way it's shot, it looks like a miniature. Like it's all model clay and cardboard.

The only thing I wish was different about it was the blur field; I wish it was more of an elliptical shape (up and down the middle going up the street) to leave a bit more of that center ground in focus. Otherwise, I love the subject matter. Very charming scene and an excellent, thorough capture of it!

It would be nicer without the blur effect at the top and bottom of the image, but it's pretty good either way
