I hate my new fineliners. They bleed to the shithouse. Hence why this peice has a black fill for the 3D, instead of a gradient. And why it looks so goddamn crappy.I'm not happy with this one at all, really. Styles are okay, but the presentation came off shocking. I could re-draw it, but i really can't be stuffed.

whats the deal with people putting borders around their peices?

anyways, the 3d is a bit off, and the space between the m and y seems a bit too big
but i digress, your backround is great, and as always, the overall peice is sweet, and you won this battle

Nah, borders don't count, in the same sense that borders on photos don't classify as digital darkroom - it's still not affecting the main peice.
I agree with you about the 3D..and the space between the M and Y, although that is enhanced by the angle i chose for the 3D. Bah. I hate 3D. From now on it's just straight blocking down, left, right or up. No more of this fancy perspective shit.

If you're worried about bleeds then use copy paper or even marker paper.

I'm not sure whether it was the pens or the paper this time. This sketch was done in my blackbook, which has taken most fineliners REAL well in the past.
