Although traditionally shown as twin brothers I thought a feminine version could would work well.Created for Signs of the Zodiac challenge
Level 4.

This is really nice!
The overall scene looks great, but the reflections look incredible! I don;t know how you did them, but the ripples and reflections in teh water look perfect!
Your brushwork is very good too, but be careful when using brushes that you don't flatten them too much. The most noticable flattened brush is on the far right near the bottom, 3 flowers from the bottom - the 2 flowers are short anad wide, making them look very unnatural. But otherwise the flowers look great!
My only other suggestion is to adjust the white text so it doesn't stand out As much, maybe by adding a few textures and by lowering the opacity a smidge.

Actually I used to make mermaids out of rusty pieces of metal/cogs and wheels etc to sell plus old doll parts.[link] and [link]
But my maiden name was Rust and I am still old

OK...that's different. It's hard to imagine mermaids made of metal cogs and gears, but those ones are actually kinda neat
