Originally painted for an ArtStation contest some time back. The theme of it was festive celebration and the spirit of youth and discovery, another condition was that it needed a depiction of the Troy horse (the organisers were based in Troia)---I decided to illustrate a street parade with lots of music and gaiety, with the strong golden sunlight from the "magic hour" of evening striking the focal point, and the neck of the horse leading down in a gentle curve into rest of the painting.Related content
