Because I've only been drawing scaly dragons all the time. I thought I might do something with fur.I like extinced animals alot. Like Dinosaurs, but I wanted something less reptillian and less old. So I came with the Sabertoothed tiger.
There really beautiful and muscular cats. And as the are extinced you can diside what color and what kind of furr they can have! That makes it alot more fun! So I gave it the colors of a Puma, and the fur of a Tiger.
It's all drawn on Corel painter X It took me 15 hours.

You finnally finished it yay! I'm glad to see it done, I really like the textures on the fur, that must have taken ages and ages! The color theme is one of my favorite and those paws. I can't say enough good about those massive feline paws. I just adore them! You don't see many people doing their version of extinct animals and i'm glad you did this painting!

Awesome muscles! You can see his body very properly. I love the way you drew the fur and the tooths^^ One stupid correction: It's sabertoothed cat, not tiger. It's a mistake most people make, but I know 'cause I've seen this documantaire: Walking with beasts, and I read lots about this issue, I love history <3 I'm sireousely thinking of a carriere as archeologist or paleontologist
