So yeah, it should be pretty obvious by now that my current team project is a 2D fighter, developed ENTIRELY OUTSIDE OF THE MUGEN ENGINE.The art style and character design is heavily inspired by " extvia's works, however, the character designs and themes are mostly my own, since Extvia usually prefers stories based on lifstyle rather than combat.
With living android characters, anything is possible in terms of character design and playstyles. I'm not going to reveal the features of the game system just yet, or even the title (probably because I've yet to think of one that sounds cool enough to be a proper title.)
The game uses HD sprites similar to Guilty Gear and is being planned for development on Xbox Live and PC. Currently not much is done aside from a bunch of conceptual stuff and some sketches/a bit of code here and there.
After this, I'm probably only going to be posting select small animations and concept stuff, since I want to keep some of the characters secret. I'll also have a proper website for this up and running sometime in the future.
In the mean time, enjoy this somewhat messy sprite animation. if only I had a program that anti-aliased automatically. 9_9' this is much harder and more time consuming than flash animation, however, the results are nicer, since pixels allow you to really keep track of your lines. (as opposed to Flash, which has a tendency to mess up your vectors with auto-smooth). But yeah...Anti-aliasing is tedious and horrible, which is why I haven't done much of it on this animation yet.
Graphics Gale is actually quite good for animation if you're using sprites.

It flows very well, and the only critique I can think of is that the backs of his feet look a little weird when he turns around. I know he's supposed to have boosters or something on his feet, but it still looks a little odd to me.

Nice Job. Doing the same here I finally started working on my fighting game as well "Furry 'Bout" name still a work in progress. But I already settle in with some of the names and done some animation for the two lead characters Kyle Emberz(fox)and Jace Herts(rabbit) who's name I change from Jake.I use "toonboom" for my animations and clean up and color in flash. I do have a team as well but all 3 of them are programmers and can't color or animate for squad T_T but I came up with the idea of using pre-render, cell shaded 3d backgrounds since they don't have to draw them just fallow my designs and model them. Still I'm in charge of drawing every individual frames of action to all 6 characters but right now I'm focusing only on the main 2 characters to start working on collisions and stuff and game mechanics.I agree it is very tedious work but it will be ever so rewarding when its done ^_^ I haven't updated my DA since I set up my concept ruffs of the characters so if you wanna check them out for a little back story and so idea of what is about go on ahead but soon I'll up load some animation and the whole improve versions of the characters and some of them will have different names too. I also have the storyline for the game as well as I'll do a short comic as too so if you wanna hear it just ask or wait 'till I update my DA.Well Good Luck ^_^

No. It's a standalone game with a standalone story. No guests.

I'm happy and upset with it. Happy, because it look both profesional and original, and i'm sure as you go to doing a excelent work in this videogame.
But upset for look as the creator of my favorite character in Mugen not go to make more characters to Mugen.
Find really good character in Mugen is very hard, but find characters in Mugen with nice original sprites, cool movepool and balanced/fun gameplay is almost imposible.
Repeat, sad for not get never Ginnigan into my Mugen Rooster (or a new update of Maxime, he still lack of more begin/win poses) but happy for you project. Luck with your work.
