*pounces* I'VE RECENTLY TAKEN A LIKING FOR SPICEY CRAZY CUTE ANTHRO STYLE! SQUEE!! This is my first attempt at "cute" anthro style (A.K.A: furry chibi). I have to say, I've been craving a bit of kawaii lately and found some nice cute anthro stuff on google images and BECAME INSTANTLY ENCAPSULATED WITHIN HAPPYLAND! (Then I stumbled upon a thing called "cute yiff" and my day was instantly ruined, but that's another story...I mean...MEDIUM SAFESEARCH WAS ON!! GOOGLE IMAGES IS CRAP!!i!*)

I really, really, REALLY wanted to experiment with this style, so I've decided to COMPLETELY REFINE My Life As a Loaded Eclipse. AND I THINK IT TURNED OUT GOOD!! (headsplosion)

These are all the characters in the new version of Loaded Eclipse, which has now gone from a boring turd-like style to a SHINEY EYEBALL (slap me, I'm losing it!)

Er-hem. Story wise, not much has changed, except that there are a few new characters and the content is now PG-rated (Adult themes, language), everyone now has to wear proper clothing because they're not Loony-toons any more, and the primary colours have become even more scary.

*cough* now, on to the characters:

Tarquin Loaded: The little white dog who's throwing a tantrum in the middle. He's a fake goth who enjoys burning stuff. Out of his circle of freinds, he's probably the least weird. Despite his short temper, he has a generous side, and spends a lot of his free time raising money for cancer.

Justin Simmons: The rabbit getting accidentally punched in the face by Tarquin. He's a raving masochist and fairly sporty as well. He's an avid skateboarder and BMX rider and Tarquin's closest freind. Justin's idea of fun is to get a bunch of people to hang him from a tree by his ears and beat the crap out of him with whatever comes to hand. He loves spicey food and pretty much anything that hurts, stings or burns without causing serious injury.

Jade Valentine: The doberman girl to Tarquin's right. Jade is a devoted DJ and mixes her own origonal tunes for discos and such. She's very loud and outspoken and has a massive crush on Tarquin. She plays the air guitar as a serious instrument.

Oatis Reyno: The pink fox with the green sweater on. Oatis is a serene, gentle, mildy suicidal fox with a really bad coffee addiction. He seems to slip in and out of depression quite randomly and is very shy around people he doesn't know. This could have something to do with the fact that he looks almost exactly like a vixen, but his exotic looks and glowstick-twirling routine makes him quite popular at rave parties.

Mia Xian: Above Justin. An eastern immigrant who just learned to speak the primary western language and just WON'T SHUT UP!! While her western is quite fluent, she doesn't seem to understand the word "privacy," and somehow manages to get obtrusive, revealing photographs of just about everyone in Smiley.

Pepper Le-vance and Ala Mayflower: Pepper is the female raccoon with aqua-coloured hair and Ala is the blonde husky on the far right. These two girls are best friends. Pepper is a very forthgoing girl while Ala is just really immature. The two of them are DROOLING YAOI FANGIRLS.:rotfl: (I think yaoi fangirls are hilarious, not because I like yaoi, but because yaoi fangirls can get two obviously heterosexual male characters and make them do...stuff, defying all logic in the process. I just had to create some yaoi fangirl characters for this series.)

Tristan Cutter and Fydel Reeds: The two boys who are blushing. Tristan is the raccoon and Fydel is the husky. Peper and Ala's pathetic, brainwashed gender-neutral bishies. They're so confused that they only have a definable sexuality when their girlfriends say they do. Oo-er...when not being manipulated by the gfs, they wander around Smiley with no real purpose. Tarquin refers to them as "Beef and Cheese" behind their backs.

Ryan: my fursona! Top left hand corner. Ryan likes to be different. He wears really loud, annoying shirts all the time and will do unusual things to get attention. Even for a cat, he's very flexible and energetic and loves to show off, and he's genophobic...very, extremily, violently anti-porn.

Cameron: look, everybody! It's ! I asked him if he wanted to be in Loaded Eclipse and he said yes. I've never drawn him as an anthro before, but a fox seems to suit his personality best. Cameron is a pimp who actually doesn't pimp anything. He just walks the walk and talks the talk AND WEARS THE BLING! I have never seen anyone with such an array of expensive gadgetry in my life! This guy hoards shiny things like there's no tomorrow. He preaches nonsense like it's the gospel, and wherever he goes, he leaves a trail of GRO0ve Dust behind him, which causes involuntary funkiness to anyone who inhales it. When Cameron and Ryan get together...watch out.

I never thought I'd get this picture finished. the scanner butchered my sketch and I had to go and touch up the lines by mouse. The colouring was totally different to anything I've ever done before, and the EYES...oh they burn!! Whoever said that chibi is easy needs a pet rock called Calvin...Seriously, I had to study other artworks for ages to get it right, and it still doesn't seem right to me.
