Hey all,
I was asked if I could donate a piece of artwork as a prize for the next GDQ charity marathon. I, of course, said yes. One of the games featured during the marathon is one my personal favorites Chrono Trigger. This is the digital rough for the finished piece, which will be a pen and ink drawing on comic artboard.
I'll have the finished piece posted sometime next week.

I've been staring at this for the past 10 minutes and I think I broke my face from smiling too much. Love all the details, like Flea's kiss heart, the imp behind Ayla, Johnny racing Doan. Can't wait for the final piece.

Oh god, the true perfection of the 16 bit JRPG's. It really makes me want to go out and buy the DS port of the game. Awesome work, though I do have an issue with Ayla's teeth looking as if she has thick lips. But at least it's a draft of yours. Cant wait to see the finished works.

I'd say the DS port is the best version. Has the slickest menus and doesn't have the terrible load times present in the PS1 version (and, if you dislike the anime cutscenes from that version as much as I do, you can turn them off completely).
