to be honest I've never even heard this guy's music but I hear it's amazing. So I'll have to pick it up someday. But this ink portrait is a few years old, I did it just for the experience. It was quite fun.Related content

During a long morning I find my way to your gallery. I love your comics, inkings and drawings. The forms you create are not stagnant. They change with each piece and every one brings its own style. This, however, stopped me in my tracks. Miles Davis is one of my favorite muscians and you capture an old and famous photo. You also capture something very haunting that I was never able to quite understand. All that to say

This is definitely a favorite, I love Miles Davis and the picture is awesome. looks very tedious getting the lines all done in ink and the shading and texture are great.

Beautiful work that captures his intensity and mystique. (Btw, Miles Davis was one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century, with a style that was always shifting over the many decades he played. Check out Kind of Blue for starters, then maybe Miles Smiles or Bitches Brew.)

You are very talented, and Miles Davis is some wonderful "date/dinner" music. Your rendition makes him look a bit evil, but it's all good.... FAR better than anything I could ever do.
