He's well adapted enough to put a young child on him for a lesson, but still has the power to be fun for a more advanced rider in the show ring. He is a gentleman, first of all, and loves to perform. He loves attention and loves to please.

- he was gelded late (at age 7) and therefore has the physique of a stallion. He was always very mellow and there are no handling restrictions due to this

Temperament: Gidget is a silly and loving dog who just needs a few minutes to warm up to new people and experiences. Considering her background, she is amazingly friendly and outgoing. She is affectionate and intelligent, always listening to Mei for guidance and looking to them for reassurance when she begins to lose confidence.
Discipline: Agility, Therapy dog work
Other: Gidget was bred to be a racing dog, but after her first two starts did not end well, she was repurposed within the field. She spent the past year before Mei adopted her living in a kennel and having her blood drawn routinely, so that it would be available for other dogs who needed it as treatment. However, this isolation and lack of handling (outside of quick clinical care every few days, and basic kennel care and feeding), left her needing some rehabilitation.
At first, Gidget was shy and afraid to be given access to the outside world again. However, with the help of a good trainer, Mei is helping Gidget readjust to her new life in a pet home.
