It doesn't work for me >~< The brush that you used isnt showing up at all on my canvas. And I tried to do a base of the feather with the pencil and then use the brush over it but it just made it look really blurry

This is what I understood from it...
Step 1: Add lines according to how big or what color you would like the feather to be
Step 2: Use the smudge/blur tool to smooth out some of the tips and edges of the feather
Step 3: Add another layer with more lines in the opposite direction of where the feather is flowing
Step 4: Smooth out the area you just added
Step 5: Add a new layer underneath the whole entire feather and give it a glow effect using the blur and paint brush tool
Step 6: Add a different shade of that color near the middle of the feather!

how do you always make the tip of the first brush strokes so fine and delicate, i never seem to get the trick
