So did you first draw/paint the feather first then use your water tool before adding the extra layers? I've never used the water tool in Sai which is why I'm asking.

I really love your tutorials! But you know, sometimes it's a little bit hard to understand what you are doing and how. Could you consider adding a few comments about that? even if it's just something like "try to make very thin strokes" it would really help a lot.
