So the key is to color the darkest possible color in the spectrum and then work your way up to the lightest?

I've been catching your progression pics on the front page for awhile now, and this one is one I really enjoy. I like seeing how people to particle effect-ish things. But it feels like there are at least 2 or 3 major steps inbetween the second-to-last and the last steps that are shown here. I mean, I know it's really just to showcase, but maybe spread out the effect a bit more next time? Sorry, I just love seeing people's process in creating things >w<
