Okay, I mean I'm quite weak at angle & gestures so I have myself Shunya Yamashita's girl as a reference for this one... A LOT of it.. for the angle & the gestures, then I just flip it horizontally.. and TADA!!

Oh, this is brilliant! It really captures Mary Jane's personality, especially in the way she's leaning forwards to shout out to Peter as he swings away.
To me, the pre-screwup Mary-Jane was the woman Peter needed in his life. Not only did she love him but she also enthusiastically approved of his lifestyle and life mission. She loved the fact that he was Spider-Man and tried to support him in every way she could.
I think it says something worrying about the mindset of Marvel's high-ups that they consdered a happy, vibrant and passionate marriage "inaccessible" to their readers. I'll treat everything post-ODM as a dark AU created after eating a bad burrito.
No, to me, she's Mary-Jane Parker, wife of Peter Parker, the woman who makes it possible for him to be Spider-Man. She's his cause, the thing for which he fights. She the thing that all heroes need: Someone to whom they can come home.

Love the anime look you took with this. Love the hand gesture. Howver, the expression should match that gesture. Her expression contradicts that hand gesture. Maybe if her mouth was open like she really is shouting it would go well. The leaning pose, leaning forward is great. Now, let's go get 'em, tiger!!
