One of my series of Ryo's cheap way tutorial~~ (echoes) *cough* right.

Now thee shall learn how to do cheap window panel effect. For those who doesn't really fancy the hard way.

First, do a new layer above of the base picture you want the window glass effect to be on. It'll be a normal layer aka Standard in OC, and not Multiple.

Now get your pen tool to be the size you want the effect to be and smudge it right on the 2nd layer like so, with white.

Clean it up so that the white shall remain only on the window surface. Do a lil touch up on it (such as adding a few streaks or so to make it look like a window's glass panel).

Now that you're done, go and tweak around the opacity lever for the 2nd layer, and do it until you've got the desired effect. Easy no? Not to mention cheap.

Same way can be applied if you are using photoshop, there isn't much difference.
