Description
These are variations of the sword form of my made-up weapon of choice, the Mobious Contrivance. Mobious is a shape-shifting weapon that is based on both mechanical and alchemic properties. Containing traces of the legendary transformation stone Morphos, it can change shape into any weapon ever created, to the form that the user sees fit. However, it shares a brain-wave link to Ryu-Gi, so only he and the people whom he trusts the most can weild it. What you can see here are several variations of Mobious's Sword form-Form Alpha-A falchion-style sword. Ryu-Gi's favorite form for Mobious.
Form Beta-A broad, double-edged form.
Form Epsilon-A thin, light, saber-style form.
Form Delta-A heavy Shimitar form of Mobious.
Form Gamma-A long and very heavy form, similar to a German Zweihander sword.
Form Zeta-a thin but very nimble straightsword form.
Form Baker-The Katana form. A gyroscope within the hilt makes it even more effective.
Form Zoid-A variation similar to a Claymore, with a double-pronged blade.
Form Omega-??? Although the progrmming is in Mobious's system for form Omega, Ryu-Gi has never used this form, for reasons he keeps to himself...(And I haven't the foggiest idea what kind of look I want for that form.)
The Mobious Contrivance also has its own artificial intelligence which allows it to analyze and understand a multitude of different fighting styles, so it knows the perfect way to combat any enemy and immediently transmit the best strategy via a cerebral link to its user's brain.
I also included some detail on the disk that is the core of the Mobious Contrivance, and the Morphos Harmonizer chamber on the end of the handle.

Great job on the sword designs, you managed to give every variant both its own distinctive parts and make it obviously part of the same set. Gamma doesn't have quite the sense of weight that I'd associate with a zweihander, but maybe that's a function of the shortness of the handle.

(Keep in mind that I'm a Gamecube fan as I say this) There were a number of reasons why they made SC3 single platform on PS2. Number one, the PS2 was considered to be more popular at the time. 2nd, it was easier for the team to focus on making it on one platform because making it multi-system again would take longer and would constrain how much content they would be able to put into the game due to differeciation in space, etc. Of course, there are rumors that the 4th game will be exclusivley on the Nintendo Wii. I just hope they don't make it for PS3, because quite frankly, the PS3 is going to suck.

ha indeed, the PS3 doesn't sound all that good... i guess that is a convincing argument... i must say tho the Wii controlers are the weirdest things i've ever seen... I've been a Nintendo fan through and through, but those are just odd... it's take some getting used to

Not too long, I think. The motion sensitivity, I think, is going to be a huge hit among gamers and non-gamers alike.

same here! They changed a lot of stuff between 2 and 3... why didn't they put it on GC? that's the platform it sold best on!

and also one more question... if the user has a style that uses a weapon not shown here (say a shortsword (broadsword?)), would the Mobious Contrivance adapt and create a new style, or give the user a style listed above, yet best suited to the user's capabilities?

Mobious already has programmed in it practically every kind of fighting style there is. It would most likley know how to adapt.

Wow, very nice looking variations of the Mobious Contrivance, so it becomes multiple swords too, not just multiple weapons, very neat.
