There's two ways to do it. First method is too copy the maps, Materials, and Models folders from NT into your Gmod folder. The second (And preferred) method is to use gm_mount, which allows you to load stuff from 3rd party Source mods the same way you'd load stuff from a normal Valve game.

I tried the first method and ened up with a map that was half pink n' black, i'd never heard of Gm_Mount though, imma have to go look for that

Oh, you tried the first method? Are you sure you copied the entire Materials, Models, and Maps folder?

aye, the whole thing.
i tried loading the shrine level and the whole place was pink n' balck at first. then i copied the materials and models folders for the maps and it came up 1/2 normal, half pink n' black

Yeah, LOL. They had to resize the model to make it fit the Half-Life 2 characters' skeleton.
