Description
A naval vessel from Anno Astra...Lepanto-class heavy destroyer
Originally designed for a foreign customer and first constructed at the Vickers Shipyard on the second moon of Churchill, the Lepanto-class was adopted by the Commonwealth as a standard heavy destroyer type, with heavy armament, good spacekeeping qualities, endurance and range.
As the Lepanto was designed for an aggressive role, three of its four main turrets were mounted to give it a very heavy frontal salvo, at the expense of its broadside. There are more torpedo tubes than to be expected for a vessel of this size, though with fewer reloads. It is quite adequately defended by sixteen point-defense turrets and carries two mobile suits in its hangar.
The design has come under some criticism, especially with regards to its long-term habitability. Cramped interiors and what many feel to be an inadequately-sized gravity block have been oft-heard concerns, though the Commonwealth Admiralty does not see this as a major issue.
At 190 meters, it masses at 30,000 tonnes deadweight and has a crew of 370, including MS pilots and maintenance crew. The Commonwealth usually assigns these as the flagships for its independent destroyer squadrons, in lieu of its light cruisers.

Also I assume that C-Fractional weapon is certainly devastating, I assume on par with a thermo-nuclear weapon when it impacts. Could only imagine if bigger ships have bigger and more powerful types.

This is a very delicious design.
Love the lines of her. And good color work too.
What is Anno Astra?

Too bad that ship is dead meat from a frontal assault form even old model MS as lacks barrage equipment in the bow sector...
It'd be a Zaku IIs field day killin them

Nope, not with all the front-facing energy shields. The tech's different and more advanced, comparable to V Gundam-era technology and beyond--the Zaku II's bazooka & 120mm conventional MG won't even get through the frontal beam shields, if they don't get roasted by the 'Minovsky Flash' in the first place (and no one's stupid enough to fly through a beam shield). The CIWS turrets are high-intensity pulse lasers, with very fast tracking and engagement times meant to shoot down smaller, 12-meter MS accelerating at 2 gees and faster. Most MS from CCA & earlier, at 18 meters, are simply larger, slower, more vulnerable targets.
In any case, different universe (although Minovsky physics applies), different setting.

Ah I was think CCA era... or earlier It looked a bit like a Clop or Ra Cailum-Class Crusier

Then again, something UC with a VSBR or a fully-charged beam launcher at close range would penetrate the ship's beam shields and deal serious damage...it's a mass-produced, low-value ship, after all, analogous to real-life WW2 destroyers in the appropriate time frame.
Its appearance is a bit of a coincidence with the Londo Bell vessels, although I have admired the Ra Cailum's design ever since I first saw CCA.
