Bug Fables is a game from Moonsprout Games that is currently available on almost all major platforms. It is an RPG adventure in the style of the original "Mario Story" Paper Mario games and tells the tale of three bugs who form an unlikely exploration team in search of a magical treasure.

Okay, there is no subtle way of saying this, but... Bug Fables is an absolute masterpiece. Beneath its charming simplicity lies a beautiful story with surprisingly complex characters and a ton of surprises. All wrapped up in a package of gameplay goodness I'd been starved for without even knowing it. I normally don't flat-out recommend a game, but I'm making an exception for this. Even if you've never played a Mario RPG-style game, if you enjoy a fun game with a phenomenal story, this is 100% for you.

So anyway. About this piece. Leif is far and away my favorite character in the game - something I did NOT expect when he first appeared. Leif is a moth with magical ice powers who seemingly arrived from a past era when the team saves him. Speaking in the royal "We" and wearing his wings like a robe, one could be mistaken for simply writing Leif off as aloof and... well... cold. But the truth is that while not especially expressive, Leif is very protective of small cute things and enjoys fun activities like a good game of Spy Cards.

I'll also be posting an alternative version of this comic with a very minor spoiler (no, it's not "that" spoiler; I'll save that for if people want to play the game themselves) on FurAffinity as well, since I couldn't decide which one I wanted to do and just went with both. XD
