Description
EDIT:I would like to point out.
I said, 'this is how I draw guides'. they don't essentially follow any measurements, but only what I 'see' and 'find' that works. It doesn't mean that it would work for everyone.
That's the only rule I follow when I draw. I don't follow any number of heads.
---------
I think I'll make some of these xD;
This is how I make guidelines when doing ref sheets.
This one's for a small female turnaround.
there's still the Full Front and the Full back, but I think it's better to show 3/4ths from and back xD;
hope it helps? xD

Aww, cute build! When I'm doing initials, I usually don't go with 'heads' either, but I do like them as a bit of a rough guide to help me remember consistency in drawing a character's proportions.

Aye, and I can see where your perspective of the form comes from. However, I find that children have larger heads in proportion to their bodies than adults do

it's not really an adult though, it's actually the base of this character : [link]

Thank you so much for making a reference of a reasonably-sized female figure. This refreshes me.

That is very interesting how you drew the body in scribble then do the outline. Nice

Just for the record, you respected the five heads' rule for junior female sry, couldn't help it, i found that really funny because of your comment

Rather handy indeeeed. I've been looking for a decent base-figure to help me straighten out design ideas. Every time I've tried to make any self-guide like this I end up losing proportion somewhere. X)
This has already come in handy in refining a few ideas for me. Much appreciated. :3

it's how i draw feet. Like said in the Artist's comments 'this is how I draw guides'. they don't essentially follow any measurements but what I 'see' and 'find' that works.

Hey, this is really nice.. but her arms look too small or short in the first pose! especially the arm she's reaching out with. It could be that her legs are unproportionately larger/thicker than her arms. The other two poses look excellent though!

Are you going to make a male version of this as well?
