His favorite pokemon is zoroark and he named it midna. Surprisingly to me, my favorite pokemon is zoroark too, in tie for first place with shiny umbreon. <3
I thought it would be really cool to combine those two, so I drew up some sketches and tried it out! My first two attempts were fails. The first one burned REEEEAAALLLYYY badly XD. It started to bubble o-0 the second one wasn't cooked all the way and it looked uneven. I really liked how it came out. ESPECIALLY since I only started to make sculptures about a month ago. XD
Anyways comment, ask questions, critique, or just throw out some ideas or other sculptures ^^

And I see. A little turtle in a bottle would be adorable. ^^ You could probably sculpt a little surface for it to stand on top of, texture and paint it to make it look like sand and add a little shell and starfish. Although depending on the how big the bottle you're using and what it's made of, I don't know how to insert it. x.x

It's a small 2 ml bottle. Keychain worthy. I was thinking about putting a base on the bottom. Like pebbels or sand looking, Uncooked sculpy for the base so that I can squish it in. Then measure out the size of the turtle, koi fish, angel fish etc. Then bake it, paintil and the gently super glue it to the base. I don't have the money to by resin, but I hear clear glue or dish soap works too. I was gonna use clear glue with a pinch of blue food coloring. Clear glue drys clear right?

Yeah clear glue should dry clear. I haven't tried it with food coloring so I don't know how transparent it comes out. Perhaps sample some and let it dry and see how it looks. Maybe dry it on a disposable clear plastic surface so you can see how it looks on the bottom as well.

I tested it out. It doesn't turn cloudy. My bottles chains and rings should arrive on or before the 12th.

I hope the glue doesn't peel. Its shouldn't bleed since its going to be acrylic.

The glue would probably come off of glass material if forced off.
Figures. ^^' Why a girl? I keep going to the store and I want to look at adorable toys, craft sets and clothes cause it would be more fun to dress up a girl! But I don't want to get disappointed. ;-; Devan had just told me he had a dream that it was going to be a girl....

It would probably dry too. I can work with that actually. Have a nice dark blue ring on the bottom of the bottle. Then use water. Kinda like a snow globe.

Yeah the glue should dry. I'm sure the water will peel and dissolve the paint since acrylic is water based. Unless you seal the paint in something waterproof, I don't know any waterproof varnishes that will hold up long either. If you really want to use water, I would recommend using all colored clay instead of anything hand-painted since water should not wear off the color on colored baked clay.

Hmm are you sure. I thought that once acrylic is fully dry it can't go back to being wet because its liquid plastic. At least that's what I heard Jarrel say. It doesn't wash of in the washer machine on my clothes either. I'll test it with one of my small sculptures.

The entire 8 months we did keep calling her Rose, and then I started calling her baby kitty, cause Devan's is a cat. x3 I think the middle name should also sound romantic, and her daddy's name is romantic, Devan means romantic poet and in french culture, it's also a girls name.
Oh yes, x3 I picture her in an adorable soft pink kimono I saw browsing online. And a little hoodie with cat ears! If she is born early in January, I was teasing Devan over how she'll be getting three big presents at about the same time every year. One from us for Christmas, one from Santa, and then one the next couple weeks on her birthday. So I told him he'll have to save up for a bicycle, a pony, and a big doll house! just kidding, ^^' she probably won't be into dolls but I do want to get her on a sturdy little bike.
Devan's definitely going to make her a gamer. x.x But I'm not letting her have slobbish habits like the gamer girl stereotype.

I'm going to buy her plenty of safe crafting sets. x3 I'm sure she'd take on after that. When I was a year and older I was given a lot of paper, pencils and paint that I'd be at it for hours until I fell asleep on the floor.
I think kids seeing what the people around them most do has the biggest impact on children ages 1-5. If they see you calm and productive, it's likely they'll take on after that. I'd have them watch calming movies and shows, like 'Little Bear'. Not violent cartoons like 'Tom and Jerry' because that could possibly get them to hype up. At least that'd be until they already have good habits.
LOL kids gaming early does have them learn big words, read better, and find out how to get through situations. Devan played Metal Gear Solid and more at 7 years old and that made him quite knowledgeable so young.
I think she will be glued to Devan's pokemon book as well. xD I'll encourage her to draw them too. There's so many art books and sets at Hobby Lobby I want to get her!
He says that her first game is going to be Pokemon, not Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo, and I said "She has to learn to read first to play pokemon! you don't have to read to play Putt-Putt! D: it's for ages 3-8 and I played it at two years old when it came out!"

No one ever knows when they're ready for a kid really, not even when financially stable. >.<" Honestly, I didn't think I'd have one this early nine months ago.
Of course they'll be smart. We're all bright rational people after all. ^^
Putt Putt was one of the highly rated children's PC games back in the 90's. It's so well scripted and designed that no matter how old you are, you'll still love it. It never gets to feeling childish at all. However only the first four games were the best. Didn't feel the same after the Humongous Entertainment series was bought out. And changed the voice acting because the kid that voiced Putt-putt grew up.
Long hair, if she likes being all over the place I'd just do a single relaxed braid and style the front with bangs so her hair won't get caught anywhere. I'd never tie it up tightly, I don't like it. >.< Plus her roots could be sensitive like mine. I'd take her to get it cut short if she wants it too.

I just listed all of my stuff in a local yard-sale site to get a chance to sell locally. Just a cheaper alternative from Etsy. You don't have to pay anything except for how you're going to transport your item. You could use bookoo.com set for your area and you could also list yourself to be commissioned for clients locally. You'd be amazed at how fast and cheap people want to sell their stuff, cause most of the time they're moving or raising money for Christmas gifts like now.

I'd grow out my girls hair and give her bangs. If she gets curly hair I would love it to be all over the place, poofy-like. XD But still styled nicely, for a child XD For a boy I'd have it average length or a bit longer. I really dislike super short hair >.<

Glad our baby is going to have straight black hair, easiest to maintain and style. I have no idea how to maintain curly hair. D: I'd love long hair on a boy. x3 He's be my little metal-head! We'd name him Snake btw.
Btw we re-decided on naming her, We'll name our next girl Rose, but this one we're naming her Aurora Dreamily. Flanders as the last name doesn't suit it, but she'd be married someday and have it changed anyway. ^^' We wanted a really suiting last name, we went through hundreds of names. But I've always wanted Dreamily somewhere, and since Aurora is the sleeping beauty, that must mean she has dreams.

That is a nice name. The dreaming beauty >w<. I was thinking Ginko for a boy for me. Its the name of my All time favorite character from an anime called Mushi-shi. Ginko is also the name of a mushi that takes the form of a blind fish. It's a long story. Ginko takes on the characteristics of patience, wisdom, curiosity, etc. I kinda want to draw him now. And it sounds like a cool name.

I was so close to finishing that series! .. over a year ago, I forgot all about it! I think I was in somewhere on episode 24. Think I would have remembered Ginko, but I don't think I've seen that episode yet. I really like that Anime. Now I think I'll finish it sometime soon. ^^ I love the intro song.

Ohh dear. T//T last night was hectic. I was close to losing Devan last evening. He got into a car wreck that was enough to completely destroy the front part of the car. Someone darted in front of him while he was diving to work and smashed the side while slamming the breaks. And he got out with only scrapes and sores, but he was really shaken up. The air bag on the Toyota didn't bruise him nor even broke his glasses. It's amazing!! D: I saw the site of the accident when I went out looking for him, he was already taken to the ER. But seeing how terrible the car he was driving looked, My heart felt cold as though I had just seen him dead! It was such a terrible feeling. I almost broke down crying before going to the hospital. They did E-rays and confirmed he was okay to come home right after. Ever since I've been so much clingier towards him but he's so sore. But I want to smother him so bad! T//T I almost lost the love of my life ...
The day before, I got the anatomy of the baby analyzed. Said everything looked good. Heart, brain and limbs. Got to hear her heart beat too, it sounded so fast but said it was normal. ^^' The due date was calculated to January 2nd, but they said it's possibly she'll come anytime after Christmas.

Oh my goodness! Was it on his side of the car? The poor guy. I'm glad he is safe though. I'm also glad that you weren't in the car! Are you gonna make a case on it? If so, do it now. Just go straight to a lawyer after you call your insurance. The insurance companies are terrible. They'll come up with anything to reduce the amount of money they will give you.
